Picked up the first issue of Spider-Man's One Moment in Time to see how Quesada planned to explain Brand New Day and how the wedding never happened(I'm one of the bitter bernards). The storytelling is lazy as fuck.

There have been some good stories since then, but it was still too crazy for where Spider-Man was at that point. I stopped reading Ultimate and Amazing Spider-Man around there.

Yeah! I was really annoyed because I had just gotten back into ASM with Civil War. Then I lost interest by the end of One More Day and haven't really read since.

There was one issue by Fred Van Lente where he brought back Spot that was a parody of Batman and Grant Morrison's Animal Man run, so I had a great nerd-out with that one.
This week brings the second issue of full color Casanova! Comics be praised!

Picked up the first Scott Pilgrim GN, will start it tomorrow. Tonight I read the first volume of Batman: The Widening Gyre. FINALLY, I posted about that fucking forever ago. I actually pretty much enjoyed it, and will end up reading volume two whenever it comes out.
I've got a bunch of one-offs to read, a couple Batman GN's to read, and a fucking ton of Buffy and Angel season 8 and 6 (respectively) to catch up on..

Batman 702. Fuck yeah.
Also, Kevin Smith is terrible you guys come on. His Daredevil story was okay, but did you read Spider-Man/Black Cat? Laziest, stupidest example possible of the misuse of rape as a plot device.

Yeah, typically I'm not into anything by Kevin Smith. I don't even know why I started picking up The Widening Gyre. It was an okay read, if not COMPLETELY FUCKING PREDICTABLE

Yeah I should say I enjoy his movies (especially Mallrats) but he is not a good comic book writer. But I suppose his Daredevil story did eventually lead to the extremely awesome Bendis/Mack and Brubaker/Lark runs, so there's that.

Actually pretty much every comic I've read by a person who isn't famous for comic books has been kinda bad. Smith, Orson Scott Card's Iron Man, the Wu-Tang Clan comics (OH GOD THOSE ARE TERRIBLE). I've been meaning to start The Umbrella Academy because I hear it's actually decent and the wonderful Gabriel Ba draws it, hopefully it doesn't go on to that list.

I've not read The Umbrella Academy, but I've heard good things.
I need to catch up on The Boys. I've got the original run that was on Wild Storm, and I think the arc right after that, then after those I've only got a few scattered issues.

lulz you just said that.
Just got A Drunken Dream and Other Stories by Moto Hagio too. I love old style manga like this and Tezuka. Also it's published by Fantagraphics which means it smells great. Go smell a Fantagraphics book, seriously.
